PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals)

Jeremy just left to go deer hunting for the weekend. He goes with some friends about an hour and a half north of here. He got a really nice buck (that is staring at me on the wall behind me) a couple years ago, so sometimes he decides he will only shoot a buck and not bother with a doe since we don't really like to eat venison. Speaking of eating hunted animals, we have been pretty good about eating the pheasants he brought home on his last hunting trip a few weeks ago. The other morning as he was going out the door, he said, Why don't you take a pheasant out of the freezer for dinner? Something like that never sounds good to me. In fact, I almost conveniently "forgot" to take it out of the freezer. Then halfway through the day, I thought I better. For some reason, looking at this on my counter is just not very appetizing:

But Jeremy gets it all prepared (I don't have to do a thing to it) and it actually tasted really good. Then again, anything fried in "Shore Lunch" can't be that bad!

This morning the girls enjoyed watching the snow come down outside (Emily was excited to get her boots out of the closet). Even though it hardly stuck, there was a little snow on the deck so Jer took the girls out and they threw snowballs for a little while.

Hard to believe that it was 75 degrees on Monday! Here we were last weekend raking leaves, it was beautiful out.
