October flew by in a blur but it was filled with lots of fun. It started off with lots of birthday surprises, including surprise "parties" at Big Dipper and PF Changs (two of my favorite places). A few days later Jeremy's parents arrived in their RV from Vegas, so it was lots of fun having them here for a couple weeks. The guys went pheasant hunting in South Dakota one weekend and had a great time. Emily also started her first real sport -- soccer. It's a 6-week indoor soccer league at the YMCA.
One evening we went to some friends' house and made caramel apples. Super fun and yummy. Thanks, Matt and Sally!
Mom and I took the girls to the new playground at Elm Creek Park in Maple Grove last week. I wish I would've gotten here this summer, it was amazing! I had heard from a friend that it has so much stuff that you've never seen at other parks, and she was right! My girls didn't want to leave. We'll definitely be back here a bunch next summer.
It's been a beautiful fall and I'm glad it's stuck around for awhile!
