Teddy Bear Park

To spend our last day together with our parents, we decided to try a new park in Stillwater -- Teddy Bear Park. I'd heard of it before but had never been there. It's awesome! It's a big fenced in park in downtown Stillwater that has tons of things to climb on, slides, rock formations, gravel/sand to play in, and of course teddy bears. Although it was fairly crowded the day we went, there was still plenty of room to play.

My attempt at getting a picture of me and the girls. As you can see, they are in no way interested.
After playing and having a picnic lunch, we headed up the hill in Stillwater to Nelson's, a somewhat famous (I think) ice cream place. I think they are known for huge portions (which I don't have a problem with). A "child size" was at least two times bigger than a normal amount you'd get elsewhere. But I think we got them all eaten!

If you're ever looking for a new park to try, it's a great one! I'd like to go back on a nice fall day if anyone wants to join us!

Oooh...that looks like fun! I had heard about it too and definitely will have to try it now, maybe on a nice fall day. And the ice cream shop - sounds perfect!
