Probably my strangest eating habit is that I don’t like my foods to touch. If they had adult-sized divider plates (not plastic but real ones, like Pfaltzgraff or something) I would own them. The worst is when you’re at a potluck – that’s why I can only choose like 3 or 4 foods. Heaven forbid have my roll touch another food. Or have spaghetti sauce run into a fruit salad. Yuck!
Luckily I don’t think the girls have inherited this trait, so far anyway. And Jeremy thinks it’s pathetic when I won’t eat something because it’s got remains of another food on it.
Then there’s Bella. She has a strange eating habit of her own.
This is how she eats her food every time, if she doesn't eat it all at once. She will eat all the food from 1/2 of the bowl, leaving 1/2 almost perfectly clean and the other half untouched. Is that normal for dogs? Jeremy and I always think it's kind of strange. It's like you divided the bowl in half and that's exactly what she ate. Hey, maybe it's a sign that she wants divided plates/bowls, too!
(Jeremy, I know you're shaking your head right now at how weird I am.) :)

This cracked me up! I can't say that I have ever eaten in the bathtub and I definitely haven't given Paisley food that floats that she can pick out of the water and eat. Kind of strange.
I've eaten ice cream and other things while in the tub too. I don't think it's strange at all. :)
If Jeremy says something about the blog, just remember that he's a little sleep deprived and not thinking clearly. Maybe if he had a little bowl of ice cream, sat in a jacuzzi, he'd be able to sleep better.
lol
Wow Steph - I'm not sure if I should laugh at that or advise you to seek outside counseling. I've heard of some strange things before, but bathtub eating? That's definitely a new one. However, would you believe someone actually wrote a book about it? Guess you aren't that weird after all. :)

I will definitely say that you do have some rather interesting eating issues. :) I laughed so hard about eating ice cream in the bathtub, and also giving the kids things that float. I honestly never would have thought of doing that. I think your dog fits right into your house. :)
I love this :) Your blog is a source of humor for me! Thanks for that good laugh. As for things floating in the tub...don't they get soggy and gross? Just wondering cuz it sure is a good idea!
Too funny. I don't think I've ever eaten anything in the bathtub - but probabaly b/c it'd take too much coordination to get the tub ready and my food ready at the same time. Esp. ice cream...doesn't it melt? A good glass of wine, though, that's a different story!
