I have now survived 3 days of potty training. I'm not really sure what to expect but by talking to other friends, I think Emily is doing pretty well. Today was MOMS group at church so it was fun to hear the potty training stories and suggestions from others. And when I picked Emily up from the nursery, her pull-up was actually dry, so they must've taken her to the bathroom and she actually went. I'm sure she didn't go on her own. Either that or she can go a REALLY long time.
Well, mom always told us "no toilet talk" so I better end with that.

Way to go Emily!! Way to go Steph!! I am dreding this next adventure luckily we won't have to do it for a little while.
Ugh, after 3 accidents this morning and only going in the potty once, I feel like we're going backwards!
I guess what they say is true, "practice makes perfect" literally. Hang in their I am sure you are doing everything and one day it will be like she's done it forever. Have you tried doing a sticker chart or something like that?
Hang in there, it's a tough thing to do, one of the hardest actually...but she'll get it. I actually rewarded Rainey with a few M&M's when she went in the potty. I hated to give her candy (I'm usually trying to avoid candy) but a friend gave me that advice and it worked good for us. I just stopped giving them to her once she got it and she didn't keep asking for them.
